ZEUGMA MOSAIC MUSEUM

Zeugma Mosaic Museum is the biggest mosaic museum of the World, opened in 2011. The museum is 1700 m2 and exhibit 145 m2 wall picture. The most attractive mosaic of the museum is Gypsy Girl Mosaic.

MEDUSA GLASS PRODUCTION MUSEUM

The museum was opened in 2008 and was designed as restoring an old traditional Antep house. There are nearly 1450 production, 75% of which is glass work, 20% of which is bronze and terracotta works, 10% of which is gold coins and gold jewellery from Rome and Islamic history.

HASAN SÜZER ETHNOGRAPHICAL MUSEUM

The museum was equipped with the region's goods and the history was tried to be lived today. The weapons used in Antep Defence War, documents and the pictures of the martyrs are presented.

EMİNE GÖĞÜS KITCHEN MUSEUM

It is the only kitchen museum of Turkey. The traditional food culture of Gaziantep is introduced in the museum.  The old kitchen tools and equipments used in Gaziantep history are presented

YESEMEK OPEN AREA MUSEUM

The area was found by Felix Von Luschan who was excavating in Zincirli area in 1890. After that, many sculptures was found during the former excavating.

GAZİANTEP CASTLE

It is not known clearly who and when constructed the castle, located in the centre of the city. However, Chalcolithic period ruins were found. The walls of the castle were supported by 12 bastions.

GREEK CASTLE

The castle was constructed on high hilltop surrounded by cliffs rising steeply from the coast of Merzimen and Euphrate. The Greek Castle has two main doors which are the east and the west.

 

 

 

 

 

 

TOBACCO INN

It is located in Coppersmith Bazaar. Nested in caves descended down the stairs from the courtyard rooms are available song consists of five separate sections. The place serves touristic goods sales and the examples of Gaziantep kitchen.

BEY DISTRICT

It is a district constructed in Sahinbey County, center of Gaziantep, and famous with many historical houses. These houses are restored. 

 

 

 

 

 

COPPERSMITHS BAZAAR

Today it is still one of the masters in the market continued the profession of copper. It is the bazaar where the masters still live their jobs of coppersmith. There are hand made coppersmiths and gifts in this bazaar.
